2 Samuel 22:5-7

⁵ For ^(A)the waves of death encompassed me;
^(B)The floods of ^[a]destruction terrified me;
^6 (C)The ropes of ^[b]Sheol surrounded me;
The snares of death confronted me.
^7 (D)In my distress I called upon the Lord,
Yes, I called out to my God;
And from His temple He heard my voice,
And my cry for help came into His ears.
